The second Saw 3D poster

They are getting taking all the words a little too literally these days. The Saw camp came out first with an eye popping 3D poster. Now here they bring us a mind blowing poster. The guys UGO get it the first time once again.

Here is a stone exploding version of Jigsaw’s head. It is a good sign actually because this is the last of the footage. Does anyone need to see these films anymore?

The film will be directed by the former editor Kevin Greutert. But does anyone really care who direct these preposterous films. He also directed the last film in the franchise. The screenplay is based on the writings of Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton. The film will be coming out in theaters on October 29 th.Similar Posts:

Tron Legacy Director gets his Oblivion

The word of mouth on this one is really getting quite bit. At the Comic Con the trailer and the footage shown also gave a lot to cheer about. Now Joseph Kosinski the director is already in line to make another film called Oblivion.

His Slate is already full with Disney signing him up for another movie called The Black Hole, which will be a remake.There is also Archangels for Legacy. Then, there is also talk about a sequel to Tron Legacy in the works. He will not join that one.

Oblivion is a science fiction love story about a soldier who works on a future set earth, where the population lives above the clouds as a result of the surface of the earth having become uninhabitable. This soldier repairs drones that patrol the desolate surface and destroy savage aliens known as Scavengers, when a woman crashes to the surface in a craft and they set off on a journey of discovery and adventure.

This is surely in line with all the high flying we got to see in the new Tron Legacy trailer. According to Deadline, Kosinski had intended Oblivion to be his first film. Tron Legacy took up most of his life for the past 3 years. So this film has enough potential for a grand scale extravaganzaSimilar Posts:

Enter the Void Poster

The controversial film took it’s time to get into the theaters in the US. The film is directed by Gasper Noe. It is great cerebral piece. But is it worth the trip? There have been a lot of mixed reports from all the people associated with it.

The film is a psychedelic head rush of images and about a recently deceased drug dealer in Tokyo who watches over his sister as a ghost.

The film follows Oscar who lives in Tokyo and has saved enough money through drug dealings to reunite with Linda. But Linda becomes a stripper and gets into a relationship with her boss. Oscar clearly disapproves of their relationship, while Linda disapproves his addiction.

The film shifts to an aerial view after the police accidently kill Oscar. This is the head trip which many people were really not interested in. Check out the trailer over here and tell us what you think of the new poster.

Damon Lindelof working on Alien prequel

Ridley Scott will be working on another Alien prequel soon. But in order for it to work, Damon Lindelof has to work on the script for some time. He has been assigned the job to redirect the story in a cooler direction.

Deadline report says that Lindelof sparked a take that could well turn out to be a free standing science fiction film. Scott will be taking on this film next for sure. Scott will be working out a way to get this project out fast so that he can cover the costs for the studio.

Ridley Scott seems to be getting a lot of work even after the misstep in the silly Robin Hood. But will he be able to get Russell Crowe for anything anymore is the question.

Trailer Watch: Johnnie To’s Vengeance

After surfacing in most of the festivals, Johnnie To’s Vengeance finally gets a release stateside. The film is directed by the iconic Johnnie To. The film will be on VOD platform and also in limited theaters in August.

We have finally got our hands on the US version of trailer via Twitch. The trailer focuses on the look and the mood of the film, which is a good thing. Vengeance takes Antony Wong and moves them to Macau where they join forces with French Star Johnny Hallyday, who play a former hitman turned chef drawn back into violence when his daughter and grand children are gunned down. The film is extremely stylized and will play the limited crowd.

The film will be hitting theaters in August and it will be out on DVD by the end of the year.

Zach Galifianakis on board for Reply All

Dreamworks has brought rights of Zach’s next film called Reply All. Zach has become a huge household name after his work on Hangover. This year he will be out with the next Todd Phillips movie with Robert Downey Jr called Due Date. He will also be seen in the sequel to The Hangover.

Now Todd Phillips talks about another project called Man-Witch which just went out the door.

“And that came, quite honestly, from Jack Black backing out of a movie I was doing. I thought, ‘F**k this f**ker. I’m going to make a new Jack Black out of Zach Galifianakis,’” he said.

Deadline once again reports that Dreamworks has bought the comedy, Reply All, which the bearded comedian is attached to star in. The film will be written by Phil Johnston. There are no details out on the plot of the film yet. Meanwhile for all those people waiting for another Zach film Due Date will be out on November 5 th.

Guillermo Del Toro to direct for James Cameron

After his unsuccessful attempt at making Hobbit, Guillermo is now set to make At the Mountains of Madness. This is truly madness on James Cameron’s part. This is going to be an adaptation of the Lovecraft book. It contains science fiction, exploratory adventure and loads of other interesting stuff.

James Cameron has come to the rescue to make this film. He wants Guillermo Del Toro to make the film as well. So finally Deadline has announced that Guillermo Del Toro and James Cameron have teamed up to make At The Mountain of Madness for Universal. Universal bought the rights for the film from Dreamworks.

The film will go into pre production in couple of weeks. The film will also have a huge budget as well. This is also what Guillermo had to say about the film. “It will be a big ticket item, shot in 3D, where Cameron’s expertise can really help. Cameron has said he won’t put his name on many future movies outside the 3D reboot of Fantastic Voyage at Fox, but I’ve heard he’s making an exception for del Toro.”

Del Toro and Matthew Robbins already wrote the script for the film ages ago. They will be reworking it a little bit. The cast won’t really matter for this one because Del Toro will make this work.

Screencaps and Trailer of Thor

The highly anticipated film for next year has finally come out with a trailer. There are also couple of screencaps to show you the whole look of the film.

Check out the images below.

Thor is being directed by Kenneth Branagh and stars Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Hopkins, Jamie Alexander and Kat Dennings. The film has not received much hype after the trailer did not go down well at Cannes. But it was the last couple of scenes that got the crowd going wild.

The film is expected to hit theaters in Summer 2011.

Trailer Watch: Beauty and Beast in 3D

It has taken a while for Walt Disney to finally bring out the 3D version of Beauty and the Beast. It is now expected to come out next year during Valentine’s Day. The effects used to bring out some of the images in this 3D upgrade have been really good.

They are also in the process of converting Lion King into 3D as well. The exact date of the 3D release is not sure. The teaser trailer is out and it looks gorgeous. It will have a very limited release on August 12 th 2010 in New Zealand.

This is what the producers had to say about the transfer.

“By going back to the original animation files, which have been carefully archived for 17 years, and using the separate background, effects and character animation elements, we’re able to come up with a fun and unique 3-D experience for existing and new fans of the film,”

Transformers 3 set visit

The set as always is filled with explosions, cars tossed around. There are new chicks stuck in rubble. The movie will only be out by next July, but there is a lot happening on the set for everyone. The Transformers have taken over the city of Chicago. They are blowing everything down all around them.

So wherever Michael Bay goes there is sure to be a warzone. Then, there are also scenes with the new star in the film Rosie Huntington Whiteley. She is certainly going to be a household name after this one comes out.

Check out the footage and tell us if you can guess where the Decepticons attack is coming from.
