Kurt Russell will play the coach again

Kurt Russell will be a good choice for this film, but will it revive his career?

Kurt Russell was pitch perfect in the role given to him by Quentin Tarantino in Deathproof. But his career has not really picked up after that. He has couple of films coming up soon. He will be playing another high school football coach in Touchback. It will be director by the first time filmmaker Don Handfield.

The rest of the cast will include Brian Presley, Melanie Lynskey, Christine Lahti, Marc Blucas, Drew Powell, Sarah Wright, Sianoa Smit-McPhee and Kevin Coais. Murphy is an unlucky famer and volunteer fireman whose glorious fooball days were cut short when he was critically injured during a playoff game. It is then an unexpected turn of events gets him to the present.

After a while Murphy, has the choice of staying back in the future or past. It is going to be a serious film and that is at least a good sign.
