Lloyd takes on Mage next

Lloyd Levin takes on Mage after getting Hellboy and Watchmen on the big screen.

Llyod Levin got the rights to Mage. Earlier he had worked to acquire the rights of Hellboy and Watchmen. This new comic centers on Kevin Matchstick, an alienated young man who discovers he has superhuman abilities. The story then shifts and sees him gain a magical baseball bat and use it to defeat the nefarious plans of an entity called Umbra Spike.

Lloyd has said it has been one of his favorite books. Levin will go on and produce the film by himself. It has around 15 books and it has been called The Hero Discovered. The rights have been acquired and Zach Snyder is in line to direct the film.

Zach Snyder seems to be attracting a lot of buzz from his recent blink and miss trailer for Sucker Punch. His vision seems to be to pop. It leaves a lot of people polarized and wanting more like some kind of fast food.
