Robert Pattinson has hands full with some interesting women.

After the exit of Nicole Kidman from the film Bel Ami; now they have Christina Ricci to stand in the role opposite Robert Pattinson. The erotically charged drama will have Christina Ricci playing Clotilde, a promiscuous young housewife who engages in a torrid affair with Pattinson’s George Duroy; the filming will begin from next month.

The film is slated for release in 2011, Bel Ami follows the story of Duroy, a nineteenth century French journalist who ascends Paris social ladder through a number of manipulative trists with talented and influential women. The film is based on Guy De Maupassant’s celebrated 1885 novel and will be helmed by noted theatre director Declan Donnellan and Nick Oremand. Uma Thurman and Kristen Scott Thomas are also attached to star in this film. Thurman will play the central paramour and ladder run, Madeleine Forestier, while Thomas will play a socialite who is seduced by the suave, power hungry protagonist. The cast will surely light up the screen with their performances.
