Nolan has been the savior for movies in this last week with the release of his movie Inception. He has gotten the studios to think outside the box after quite sometime. Most of them stuck with silly graphic novel adaptation or horrible books. There has been nothing concrete in a long time.

He is now taking a break after all the work put into Inception. He will be taking a break from movies. He will be making a Batman sequel and a Superman film for the future.

The two big questions were about the darkness of his stories in his recent films.

He was quick to deny that he’s a ‘dark’ film maker however, “…and I’m often surprised with the two Batman films we have made, for example, that people would think of them as having a dark tone, because to me they’re actually very optimistic and are full of emotionally positive things as well as negative things.”

As for how work is coming along on his reboot of Superman, tentatively titled The Man of Steel, he wasnt prepared to reveal all that much about the project:

“We’re working on the script but someone else will direct. I can’t really say much more.”

He was very quiet when asked about the possibilities of characters in the Batman films. He was firm when he said that Joker will not surface in Gotham City. He only said this,

“Batman and Superman are very different characters but they’re both iconic and elemental. Finding the right story for them both is the key. That’s the dream!”

So he will be working on this dream in the coming months. So if this superman will be scripted by Nolan it will be a big leap for the studios that are dying to work with the man.

The trailer of Percy Jackson and the Olympians had creeped up on Dark Knight DVDs worldwide. It is another of those Clashes of the Titans type movies. This year there is going to be loads of Greek mythology films coming out. The trailer for this one looked quite interesting.

The Medusa is one of those characters in Greek literature that has sort of scare loads of men away. But the Uma Thurman version looks rather quaint. She seems to be hiding those piles of snakes and sort of modernized her look.

There loads of other characters in the film like Steve Coogan playing rocking Hades and Rosario Dawson playing Persephone. Uma Thurman has been going through a really rough patch these last couple of days. The Percy Jackson series is surely going to make loads of people happy to watch this still of Uma Thurman.

Everyone has sort of lost it after watching the 200 million dollar Inception trailer directed by Christopher Nolan. We had featured this trailer couple of weeks back but it was French dubbed. It didn’t also come with these interesting pictures from the trailer.

For those of you caught a glimpse of this crazy trailer at the screening of Sherlock Holmes is surely stunned with what little they got from the trailer. But over here we will not be screening the original trailer. But a reordered trailer which kind of makes a whole lot of sense with the same music and everything.

But all this deciphering will not be anywhere close to the actual trailer. One of my favorite parts of the trailer is when Ellen Page screams out in one of the montage sequences

. These are just great touches from the man behind the Dark Knight.

The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Ken Watanabe, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, James Franco, Marion Cotillard, Ellen Page, Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy as Fischer, Tom Berenger as Browning, Dileep Rao and Lukas Haas. The international star cast has also got something to do with the places where this film is shot. The film is directed by Christopher Nolan from a script he has written. The film is lensed by Nolan’s favorite Wally Pfister.

The film has been a billed as a definitive science fiction film which features Leonardo DiCaprio who tries to enter the minds of people and try deciphering some crimes in the future or in the present. Nothing is really certain about the plot of this film.
